The Prolog language is used for implementing facts and rules in logic-bases. ODBC support is provided at multiple levels. At the highest level, records appear as Prolog facts in the logic-base. Since Prolog shares the same roots as relational database, this mapping is very natural. At the lower levels, Prolog rules can issue any SQL command via ODBC.
