Prolog + Logic Server 4.1 is Ready ----------------------------------------------------------- The final release of the Amzi! Solaris 4.1 version is now available. It is both object (.plm and .xpl) and source (.pro) file compatible with the PC version. It includes all of the command line tools of the PC version, but does not include an IDE. You can download a time-locked trial version from our Web site, or purchase a professional version for US$898 by sending an e-mail on www.amzi.com. A 1-year subscription for the Solaris Edition is US$298. CORBA and JNI Customer Contributed Logic Server Interfaces ---------------------------------------------------------- We have two new customer contributed applications: One is a Corba-Java connection that allows the connection of remote Prolog objects via a Corba-Java interface. This might eventually become part of the main product line. The other is a Java Logic Server interface for use with Microsoft versions of Java that do not support the standard Java Native Interface (JNI). This software is available either independently on our web site, and is included with the latest version of Amzi!. Breast Cancer Decision Guide Now Publicly Accessible ---------------------------------------------------- The Breast Cancer Decision Guide described in a recent article in PC AI magazine is now open to public comment at www.bcdg.org This descision guide was built using the current version of WebLS, which is freely available for downloading from our web site. New Amzi! Folks --------------- We have some late introductions for people working with us that you will probably run into during the course of your dealings with us. Jenny Bowman is handling most of the business aspects of Amzi!, and you will be working with her whenever ordering new products or services. The operational aspects of Amzi! have been running smoother since she's come on board. Ray Reeves will be taking over a significant amount of both new development and tech support. Ray has a very deep Prolog background and has worked with us in the past on a number of projects. Tech Support Note ----------------- Due to the increased work load, we encourage all of our customers to use e-mail for tech support wherever possible. E-mail lets us balance our work days better and still provide one day turn around for most problems.
