Amzi!News, July 2002 Announcing KnowledgeWright Support and KnowledgeWright Guide Amzi! introduces the next generation of expert system development tools with the release of the KnowledgeWright® family of products. The successor to Amzi!'s WebLS®, these products are affordable knowledgebase tools for delivering expertise on the web and embedded in applications. KnowledgeWright Support KnowledgeWright® Support is designed specifically for delivering technical support on the Web. Support technicians work with the graphical workshop to create and maintain a knowledge base of support solutions. These are entered in intuitive structures, with full HTML capabilities for providing clear dialogs with users while resolving problems, and for providing explanations and relevent links when the correct solution is found. The runtime reasoning engine works like a good technical support representative, developing hypothesis, prioritizing possibilities, interacting with the user to find the correct solution. If a solution is not found, the problem can be forwarded via e-mail (along with all the details entered by the user) to a technical support representative. KnowledgeWright Guide KnowledgeWright Guide makes it easy to create, test and deploy knowledgebases that help website visitors select products or services, locate information, get answers to common questions, find solutions, learn from experts and more. Technicians use the graphical workshop to create knowledge bases using a variety of objects. These can be rules, tables, formulas, facts, database interfaces, and questions for the user. Questions for the user can be formatted with HTML to embed images, videos and links. Answers are displayed in dynamically assembled web pages. Deliver Knowledgebases Anywhere Knowledgebases can be deployed on the Web using either Windows or Unix servers. They can also be embedded in applications written in Java, C++, VB or Delphi. Free Academic, Personal & Evaluation Use Like our other products, KnowledgeWright is free for academic, personal and 90-day evaluation use.
