Amzi! Prolog + Logic Server 4.1 Final is Ready
----------------------------------------------

The 4.1 release of Amzi! Prolog + Logic Server for Windows is available
for downloading. Current subscribers should have already received a new
serial number and unlock code via e-mail. If you haven't, e-mail us on
www.amzi.com

Version 4.1 features the ability to split clauses within and across source 
and object files. It also allows you to unload an object file. Support has 
been added for the latest releases of many new and existing tools including: 
Java 1.1, Visual C++ 5.0, Borland C++ 4.5, Borland C++ Builder, Delphi 3.0, 
and Visual Basic 5.0. Also, the ODBC interface has been extended to support
floats and doubles, and has had some performance improvements as well.

Upgrade pricing for non-subscribers is as follows for Internet downloads:

    4.0 Professional Users      US$149
    Pre-4.0 Personal Users      US$199
    Pre-4.0 Professional Users  US$399

WebLS 3.0 is Ready, and is Now Freeware with Source Code Available

WebLS is under active development in order to support large logic-bases 
(like the one used in the Breast Cancer Decision Guide). Logic-bases can 
consist of multiple, related modules that can be compiled for greater
performance. Many, many new features have been added to give very fine
control 
over how questions are asked and how the advice, recommendations or diagnostic
information is displayed.

The current issue of PC AI magazine features an article on the Breast Cancer
Decision Guide that we have been building with the 3.0 release of WebLS.
This web-based system inquires about the patient's diagnosis and life
situation and then provides information on what is generally accepted, what
is recommended by medical professionals for others in similar situations,
related areas being researched and much more information. It consists of
multiple modules that eventually will cover the full path from early
detection and diagnosis to rehabilitation and recurrance.
