Download the next generation of WebLS and SupportKT -------------------------------------------------------------- KnowledgeWright is the next generation of high-level expert system development tools from Amzi!. It is the successor to WebLS and SupportKT. KnowledgeWright is a family of products. This is because the KnowledgeWright architecture is based on being able to easily change both the knowledge representation and reasoning processes. The first product in the line is "KnowledgeWright Basic". It lets you put your expertise on the web or in your product. Following shortly will be "KnowledgeWright Sales" which lets you put your best salesperson on the web, and "KnowledgeWright Support" which lets you answer commonly asked tech support questions. KnowledgeWright models the conversations that an expert has with another person by gathering information and presenting conclusions. The content of those conversations are contained in a knowledgebase that you create. Knowledgebases are developed using the KnowledgeWright Workshop. This is a full graphical user interface for building and debugging. Once built, knowledgebases can be deployed with the ready-to-run web interface, or they can be embedded in Java, C/C++, Visual Basic, Delphi, etc. Many existing WebLS logicbases can be converted to KnowledgeWright Basic. You can read more about KnowledgeWright Basic at http://www.amzi.com/products/knowledgewright_basic.html You can read about the KnowledgeWright architecture at http://www.amzi.com/KnowledgeWrightManual/overview/knowledgewright_overview. html You can read about the upcoming KnowledgeWright Sales at http://www.amzi.com/products/knowledgewright_sales.html If you would like to be an alpha tester for sales, please let us know. You can download the Windows beta at http://www.amzi.com/products/knowledgewright.html Other platforms will follow shortly. Let us know of your interests. KnowledgeWright Basic is free for personal and evaluation use. Commercial license pricing has not yet been determined. [2] Get Your Own Custom KnowledgeWright Expert System or Private Labeled Edition -------------------------------------------------------------- The architecture of KnowledgeWright makes it very easy for us to adapt it to different knowledge structures and reasoning processes. We call each of these adaptations a "jig", like a pattern used for a jigsaw. This allows us to create custom reasoning systems at a fraction of the cost and time compared to a new development project. In addition, we can package KnowledgeWright under your own brand name for you to sell or distribute, thereby giving you a new tool in your product line. We have built a job advisor that recommends appropriate careers based on a person's traits, interests, education and capabilities. Also, we have built a workout advisor that recommends the parameters for each day's workout based on dozens of physiological factors. You can read about KnowledgeWright Custom reasoning engines at http://www.amzi.com/products/knowledgewright_custom.html Contact us at www.amzi.com to discuss your needs. [3] Sales Help Wanted -------------------------------------------------------------- We are seeking a bright, self-motivated individual to work in a sales capacity following up leads by e-mail and the telephone. This is a part-time job which is primarily based on commission, so it is ideal for a stay at home parent or care giver. [4] StrandWare uses WebLS to Answer Tech Support Questions on their Web site -------------------------------------------------------------- StrandWare, Inc. is a leading developer of label design, printing, and tracking software for worldwide industrial and business applications. Quality products and a strong commitment to customers has enabled StrandWare to increase its installed base to over 110,000 users in 80 countries around the globe. The commitment to customers remains Strandware’s top priority, and servicing their large customer base has required both excellent people and products. A Web-based technical support solution provides a number of benefits for both Strandware and its customers. First, and most obviously, it can directly solve a certain percentage of customer support issues. This means the customer got a quick solution, and tech support time is saved for the harder issues. Second, it acts as a filter for human technical support. When a customer does not get a resolution to a problem, an e-mail is sent to technical support, containing all of the information the customer entered while describing and trying to resolve the issue. This means the technical support people are not wasting either theirs or the customers time gathering preliminary information. Third, the system gathers the data from the Web-based support sessions, providing a valuable resource for analyzing customer problems and configurations. This data can be used to directly drive product development and documentation in directions that will increase future customer satisfaction. Over the last two months they have been averaging close to 100 technical support sessions per month on the Web site, and about 80% of those have resulted in a resolution for the customer. The other 20% have triggered e-mails to technical support. Based on the success of this system, StrandWare is considering two other applications of expert system technology. One would be for sales advisors, to help prospects pick the right products for their application. The other would be an internal system that routes unresolved technical support issues to the best-suited person for dealing with the issue.
