Features Notes
All our products are licensed to a single PC by use of a hardware fingerprint.
This restricts the running of the development tools to that one PC (although
the license can be transferred to a different PC). If you have a Developer,
Professional or Enterprise license, you can freely distribute your applications
and deploy them under Web servers royalty-free.
- Development Tools—The Amzi! Eclipse IDE, command-line
tools (listener, compiler, linker), classic debugger, tutorials, samples
and documentation.
- Logic Server—Interfaces for embedding Prolog components
in web servers (Java Servlets, ASP.NET), languages like C++, Java, Visual
Basic, Delphi, C#, Python and tools such as Access and Excel (with full
source code). The Free Edition does not support Logic Server eXtensions
like tcl/tk, odbc and sockets.
- Source Debugger & Productivity Features—Sophisticated
source code debugging of interpreted and compiled Prolog components
embedded in other languages and tools (on the same machine), project
cross referencing, hover help, keyword completion and argument assistance
for Amzi! system predicates.
- Server Features—Multiple simultaneous Logic Servers under multiple processes and threads. Debugging
of Prolog components on remote machines. Dynamic loading/unloading of
compiled Prolog code.
- Distribution—Unlimited, royalty-free distribution.
- Tech Support—Email and phone support only available to
customers under maintenance (first year's maintenance is included in
the original product purchase).
- Unix—Solaris and HP/UX. Please contact us for custom ports.
Editions Notes
- All—Include first year maintenance. Renewals available
for each year thereafter.
- Free—Can be freely used by anyone including consultants,
educational institutions, government agencies and corporations for evaluation
and educational purposes. Executable files run only on the installation
machine. Windows Edition includes free trial of the source code debugger
and productivity features.
- Personal/Student—Includes the source code debugger, cross-referencer and context-sensitive help.
- Developer—Can develop and deploy web applications for
up to 10 users running under the same process (using multiple threads). Does not allow dynamic loading/unloading of compiled
code or debugging of remote applications. For users with multiple PCs (for example, a desktop and laptop),
a second license key can be issued in the same user's name.
- Professional—Includes all product features. For users
with multiple PCs (for example, a desktop and laptop), a second license key can be issued in the same user's
name.
- Enterprise—The Enterprise license is customized to your needs and includes full source code for Amzi! Prolog
+ Logic Server (in C++ and Prolog), application-level support,
prototyping and/or custom programming, and licenses for any platform
and all the programmer's in the same department (licenses can be transferred
from one PC/user to another via our website).

Software Maintenance and Support Renewals
All our products include the first year's software maintenance and technical
support. You will be able to download and install any new version that
is released during the 365 days following your initial purchase. Customer's
with up-to-date maintenance receive priority technical support. The cost
to renew maintenance is below. You will need your current license key to place the order. Our e-commerce system will try to match the upgrade order with your prior purchase. If it is unable to do so, we will contact you for further information about your original order.
