Company

Amzi! inc. has been in business since 1991. We are a small, self-funded company that provides both products and services. See our Technology, Product and Service Overview for details. Sales and support are primarily provided via the Internet as over half of Amzi!'s customers are outside of the United States.

Principals

Amzi!'s two founders have a combined 50+ years of experience in the software industry ranging from technical to marketing and management roles.

Dennis Merritt has been working with logic programming and artificial intelligence for the past 20 years. In addition to being co-founder of Amzi! inc., he has written numerous articles and books describing how to implement various AI technologies. His most recent publications come from his role as editor of the Dr. Dobb's Journal AI Expert Newsletter.

Mary Kroening has been working with commercial software for the past 25 years. Her interests are user interfaces, integration and networking. She has written articles on these technologies and recently served as the AI and the Web columnist for PC AI magazine. Her most recent publication is the article in the C/C++ User's Journal describing Amzi!'s involvement with the Eclipse project.
